CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

SHARE YOUR RESEARCH AT the SCARS+F Conference 2027

We invite researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals to submit their latest findings for the 7th SCAR & FIBROSIS Treatment Conference 2027. All accepted abstracts will be presented onsite, offering a valuable opportunity to share innovative work, exchange ideas, and contribute to the scientific dialogue of our congress.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • An abstract is required for all scientific submissions.
  • All submitted abstracts that are accepted will be presented onsite at the SCARS+F Conference 2027.
  • Abstracts must be submitted by October 15, 2026
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference program. By submitting an abstract, you consent to SCARS+F 2027 publishing your abstract.

CONTENT OF YOUR ABSTRACT

HOW TO STRUCTURE YOUR ABSTRACT

  • The abstract word limit is 300 words maximum per abstract. The SCARS+F Secretariat reserves the right to edit abstracts that exceed the word limit.
  • The title should clearly indicate the nature of the study.
  • Abstracts must contain previously unpublished and unpresented data.
  • The abstract should include the following sections:

INTRODUCTION

Clearly describe the background and purpose of the study.

METHODS

Clearly describe your selection of observations, experimental subjects, or study material.

RESULTS

Present your results in a logical sequence.

DISCUSSION

Highlight and discuss new and important aspects of the study.

CONCLUSION

State the conclusions drawn from the results of the study.

REVIEW PROCESS

ABSTRACT REVIEW & NOTIFICATION

  • Abstracts will be reviewed by the SCARS+F Board, who will serve jointly as the reviewing committee.
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by mid December 2026.
  • Please ensure that the email address of both the submitter and the presenting author is correct, as it will be used for communication after the review process.
